Jones Lang LaSalle acquires Group Tétris in France Printer Friendly Version

Paris & London, 29th November 2007 - Jones Lang LaSalle has today announced the acquisition of Group Tétris, the leader in office design, site management and business relocation in France. Through this acquisition, Jones Lang LaSalle reinforces its ability to support businesses throughout the entire lifecycle of their real estate projects, including defining needs, sourcing building space, and office design and relocation management.

Founded in 2003, Group Tétris now employs over 75 people. The company is recognized for its expertise in the design and implementation of office systems. Its client base is made up of more than 4,000 multinational corporations and SME-SMI in all fields of business, a large number of clients from the public sector, and institutional and administrative organizations. Companies recognized for their high standards such as DCN, PSA Peugeot Citroën, SNCF, Gaz de France, Sanofi, SFR, Dexia, La Poste, Generali and many others have chosen Tétris for their projects.

“This acquisition is a perfect match for our growth strategy; it complements initiatives already underway in terms of recruitment and the opening of new offices in the Ile de France region. It will allow us to reinforce our market share in our traditional activities and offer new services to clients. With this acquisition, Jones Lang LaSalle now has close to 400 employees in France and shows major growth potential,” said Benoit du Passage, Chief Executive Officer, Jones Lang LaSalle, France & Southern Europe.

Alastair Hughes, Jones Lang LaSalle’s CEO EMEA added:  “This is the ninth small to medium sized acquisition we have made this year in EMEA, as we continue to develop our service offering to clients with a careful blend of organic growth and tactical purchases.”

The broad range of services now offered by Jones Lang LaSalle in France will cover all aspects of real estate project management at each of its stages:
  • Decision-making consultation (needs analysis, programming, assistance with location search, feasibility and capacity study, technical/spatial audit, budgeting and planning estimates)
  • Design (defining needs, outdoor area planning, organization, manpower and technology needs analysis, space planning, interior architecture)
  • Implementation (implementation and supervision of all stages and types of work)
  • Relocation management (organization and supervision of moving, management of relocation)

Jones Lang LaSalle now offers its clients a wide range of services according to their needs: assistance as Project Owner and Main Contractor, and also as General Contractor or Service Provider, for all phases of implementation and the lifecycle of third-party installations.

"By combining Tétris’ expertise with the knowledge and experience of Jones Lang LaSalle, we aim to become the first choice partner for third-party business projects in this field,” concluded Franck Eburderie, founder of Tétris.

Jones Lang LaSalle was advised by the lawyers Lovells and Group Tétris by Thesis.
